• Buy the mission

Start by buying the mission here on our website. Within a minute you will get a link on SMS and via email to our PartyAdmin. This gives you instant access to log in and get started with setting up the mission and party.

  • Add party information

When logged in to your PartyAdmin you start by filling out the information in "Party information". The info needed is when and where the party is, etc. You can choose an exact address or a nearby park.

  • Add the guests

All you need to add guests is the name and phone number of the guest (if they have their own phone) and their parents phone number. Don't forget to add your own children or other hosts so they also will be able to participate in the mission.

  • Place the question sites

The Google map is already zoomed in on the address or location you selected in previous step, so it's super easy to place the pins where you want each question.

See video below how it's done.

  • Send the invitations

With just a click, all invitations are sent to the guest and their parents via SMS. Both the invited child and their parent will get the invitation, which reduces the risk of someone not getting the invitation. The parent is the one responsible to send the RSVP.

  • Select the Teams

Team selections is easily done by dragging-and-dropping the names in our PartyAdmin. Our system will suggest a suitable number of teams depending on how many guests are attending, which is usually the best solution.

How does the "100% Happy Kids Guarantee" work?

Our 100% Happy Kids Guarantee is very straightforward because we only want super satisfied children and customers. It means that if the kids or you yourself, for any reason, don't think the mission was an absolutely fantastic experience, we will refund the entire cost to you immediately. The only thing we ask in return is that you tell us what you were not satisfied with, so that we can improve.

QUESTIONS ABOUT

Time

How long does a mission take?

Expect it to take about 1 hour ± 15 minutes depending on the players' familiarity with mobile devices and so on. For younger children, there are fewer questions in the mission, so it usually can be completed a bit faster, but of course, it also depends on how large of an area you use to place the question spots. Missions that are indoors with QR codes naturally go faster since the distance between questions is shorter.

How long is the mission valid after purchase?

A mission is valid for 14 months from the date of purchase. The idea is that if you plan to have a party and the child falls ill or something happens so you have to cancel it, we want you to be able to hold it the following year instead.

When should I send out the invitations?

We usually recommend that 3-4 weeks is just about right, as this gives you time to remind everyone who has forgotten to RSVP, etc. But if it's urgent and there's only about a week left, that usually works out fine too, but then you'll need to push a bit to get all the RSVPs in and have the guests install the app, etc.

How close to the mission can I switch between GPS and QR locations?

You can switch between GPS and QR code locations as close as one minute before the mission (in case of sudden weather changes, etc.), but keep in mind that it's important to have the time and opportunity to print out the QR codes, cut them out, and set them up. Our suggestion is to do this well in advance, to avoid unnecessary stress during the mission :)

How Do I Reschedule the Party?

If you need to change the time and/or date, simply go to 'Dashboard' in PartyAdmin, select 'party information', and from there you can change the time/day and click 'Save'.

If the invitations have not been sent out yet, you will not notice any change and will not need to do anything extra. However, if the invitations have already been sent, you must click on 'send invitations' again to resend them. A new SMS will be sent to all guests and their parents, clearly marked with 'NEW TIME AND/OR DATE...' at the beginning of the message, making it clear that they need to respond to the invitation again.

Please note that you should make this change under 'party information' and not use the icon with the red cross in a circle, unless you need to cancel altogether. Using that icon resets all information, and you will need to enter all guests, locations, etc., again.

QUESTIONS ABOUT

Locations

What is the best location for the party?

The party and the mission do not need to be in the same location. You can organize the party anywhere, at home or in the nearest park or at another location. But of course, it's always a good idea if it's not too far from where you have placed the mission's starting point.

What is the best location for the mission?

You can run the missions outdoors or indoors. All missions can be run in two variations. One uses GPS locations outdoors (which you define on a map in PartyAdmin), ideally in the nearest park. This is the most enjoyable way to play. The other variation is with QR codes, suitable for indoors or in the garden. It involves the same questions as the GPS version, but you'll need time to print, cut out, and post the QR codes. You can switch between the GPS and QR code versions up to the mission's start time (for instance, in the event of a sudden snowstorm), but then ensure you have sufficient time to print and set up the questions. When deciding on a variant, it's useful to know from our experience that children are usually quite resilient to weather conditions.

QUESTIONS ABOUT

The missions

What will you find in a mission?

Each mission contains 6-8 picture and video questions depending on the age level. The questions include tricky inquiries involving cipher, tire tracks, fingerprints, DNA, and other exciting elements. To help decipher and solve the questions, participants have an agent handbook and a magnifying glass at their disposal. Each mission features 10 video clips with the agent chief.

Check out our 1-minute video trailer via the link below. All questions and clips are directly from the missions in the app:

QUESTIONS ABOUT

Age

What age is suitable for children to play a mission?

Our parties cater to three specific age ranges: 8-10 years, 10-12 years, and 12-14 years. If you're organizing for children of mixed ages and have to choose between two age brackets for the mission, it's advised to opt for the higher age range. The experience tends to be more engaging when it's not too easy.

Which mission age group suits 10-year-olds best?

For parties involving 10-year-olds, consider their familiarity with mobile devices as a guideline. For example, if several of them are experienced with mobile games like Pokemon Go, then the '10-12 years' range would be appropriate. They should be able to manage the challenges designed for the older age group. If, however, most of the children have only recently begun using mobile phones, then the '8-10 years' range would be more suitable.

QUESTIONS ABOUT

Number of players

How many players can play at the same time?

A game can accommodate 2 to 36 players. Ideally, there should be at least 3 persons per team. Additionally, it's possible to set up multiple "parties" simultaneously. For example, each class in a school can be considered a "party".

If you are a school or a company, please contact us directly at uk@pinagent.com and we will certainly arrange a very favorable bulk discount for you :)

Why isn't it cheaper if there are fewer players?

The price is set the same whether there are two or 36 players for several reasons. Firstly, the missions are much more enjoyable when everyone has their own phone, which likely wouldn't be the case if the cost were per player. Additionally, adjusting prices based on the number of participants would significantly increase administration for both the customer and us, especially as the number of participants often changes for parties. The price is based on 10 players, so anything above that is essentially a bonus.

QUESTIONS ABOUT

Mobile Phones

Does every child need a mobile phone?

It's recommended for each team member to have a mobile phone to ensure everyone can participate equally in answering questions, fostering teamwork and engagement. While it's possible to join without a phone, it may affect the feeling of involvement.

Solutions for players without a phone include borrowing from a parent or using a spare device, ensuring it has a data plan for the game, which typically uses about 200-300MB of data.

What are the mobile phone requirements?

The app for playing is available for both iPhone and Android devices. It requires at least Android 7.0 or later, or iOS 13 or later for iPhones, to download and play the game effectively. This ensures compatibility and a smooth gaming experience on modern smartphones.

Can iPads or tablets be used instead?

Using iPads or tablets is not recommended due to common limitations in cellular connectivity and GPS functionality, which can lead to technical issues during gameplay. This decision aims to ensure a smooth experience for all participants.

QUESTIONS ABOUT

The App

How to troubleshoot if something goes wrong?

To fix issues with the app, 99% of errors can be resolved by simply closing and restarting it. It's recommended to inform all participants about this step before they begin their mission to avoid any interruptions.

If a problem does not resolve through this method, contacting support via the website's web chat is advised to help developers address the issue.

Where can the app be downloaded?
